Turbodynamics' product line includes docking interfaces, manipulators, ATE trolleys, conversion kits, probe card storage and autonomously driving handling systems. Its P-DockⓇ docking system is user-friendly and maintenance-free, facilitating small-footprint, high-contract load-capable setups. P-Dock is seamlessly integrated into various testing environments, supporting popular OEM docking systems with sub-10μm accuracy, compact form factor, and exceptional safety and precision.

The company provides tested and effective direct docking solutions that provide ample space to accommodate large probe cards or load boards.

These solutions ensure proper alignment between the board and the mounted stiffener when the ATE test hand is positioned on top of the device under test (DUT). Turbodynamics also provides x-y-z shift docking plates for precise tester alignment on the handler.

The firm’s device interface board (DIB) changer—a fully automated, universal board changing system—is designed for swift exchange in multi-site and multi-factor testing. The DIB changer features an automated docking and slide out mechanism mounted to a handler to enable sideways-shifting of the load board besides the handler. It offers ergonomic, streamlined operation and is compatible with commonly used horizontal and strip handlers.

Operators can now easily replace probe cards using the Turbodynamics probe card trolleys. The board exchange and transport can also be done with the AGV driven fully automated probe card trolley. This also addresses the challenges associated with human mishandling, such as losing balance and dropping the expensive equipment, which can damage and affect the quality of probe tips.

In conjunction with the probe card and load board handling trolleys Turbodynamics' product range also includes automated probe card storage systems, as well as accessory equipment like maintenance tables with flip features to provide a complete solution for Industry 4.0 test floor automation.

Another remarkable example of Turbodynamics’ innovation is its motor-controlled manipulators, which are known for their precision and smaller footprints and accurately align ATE components. The new Tiger Series of manipulators offers unparalleled freedom, stability and accuracy for test heads weighing up to 500 kg. The Tiger Series currently has the lowest footprint and highest flexibility in the market, reflecting the firm's dedication to improving operational efficiencies. The modular Tiger manipulator can be equipped with a fork lift like footing to become the Tiger Test trolley, providing a safe mobile handling solution for test heads. These space-saving, cost-effective trolleys are enabling a paradigm change in test floor management as it is now possible to move the tester to the often more difficult to move handler, unlike the former best practice.

Recognising that many semiconductor manufacturers continue to use legacy products, the firm also offers conversion kits to facilitate the integration of modern ATE technologies into existing products.
