Complementing this is TET's ESD tester, which collects ESD data in a PC. This tester compares the IC before and after applying an ESD pulse and records the ESD level. The recorded results can be used to determine whether the IC's ESD protection circuit is working properly.
Recognizing the challenges posed by miniaturized structures and low voltage tolerances in modern ICs, TET has established a new lineup apart from automated ESD testers.
TET’s Model Ecdm series offers a cost-effective solution for comprehensive ESD testing, making it an ideal choice to research ESD protection circuits in the laboratory and design ESD protection circuits before large scale production. Its manual operation on a benchtop provides ease of use and accessibility. The flexibility to change external connection probes/adapters allows it to simulate all major ESD types, including the human body model (HBM), machine model (MM) and charged device model (CDM). This ensures client’s ICs and electronic components are thoroughly tested for a wide range of ESD scenarios, enhancing their reliability and compliance with industry standards.
This multifunctionality not only saves costs by eliminating the need for separate instruments but streamlines clients’ testing processes, giving them a comprehensive understanding of their components' performance under various stress conditions.
