Honest Components, Inc. (HCI), a supplier of obsolete and hard-to-find electronic board-level components, has launched a new online database housing over 3,000 legacy and discontinued parts, all searchable via www.honestcomponents.com.
“This database is a vital tool for buyers in aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial sectors that rely on legacy systems,” said Jacqueline Schwab, President of Honest Components. “It allows users to instantly search our inventory or submit sourcing requests for even the most elusive components.”

The new platform empow engineers and buyers to search inventory from top manufacturers like Toshiba, TDK, Rohm, and Texas Instruments. It is also possible to Submit custom requests when a part isn’t listed and HCI’s sourcing experts will leverage a global network to locate it.
“All products are independently tested components backed by Global ETS, an independent AS6081/ISO17025-certified lab. Unlike competitors that use in-house validation, HCI covers the full cost of third-party testing, including X-ray inspection, decapsulation, and full electrical verification, ensuring each order is thoroughly authenticated,” explained Ms Schwab.
“We prioritize transparency and integrity. Our testing methods virtually eliminate counterfeit risks and ensure that 99.9% of our orders meet or exceed military and aerospace reliability standards.”
The new system also assists OEMs and contractors with lifecycle management, offering end-of-life alerts, alternative sourcing guidance and strategic inventory planning to prevent downtime.
HCI is a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) certified to ISO 9001:2015 and AS9120B standards with over 50 years’ supply chain experience.
