FREMONT, CA: Caspia Technologies, a pioneer in creating hardware security verification for modern SoCs and electronic components, announced the appointment of three executives to its management team today. Richard Hegberg joins as CEO, Marc Corbacho as CRO, and Dr. Jeremy Lee as VP of Engineering.

Richard Hegberg was the former CEO of three semiconductor startups. He has held executive positions with SanDisk/WD, Qualcomm, Atheros, Numonyx/Micron, ATI/AMD, and VLSI Technology. Marc Corbacho is the former VP of Sales at Mentor Graphics, now Siemens EDA. Dr. Jeremy Lee obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He has extensive experience in testability and test design, having worked at Texas Instruments and Anora Labs.
Logic verification has long been an essential chip and system design component, accounting for around 50 percent of the overall design investment. However, a new component of design robustness is emerging: resilience to cyberattacks. Thanks to increasing AI technologies, the possibility of compromising system hardware with the intent of causing harm or stealing valuable data is rapidly expanding. Hardware security verification, in addition to logic verification, is now required for success.
