Matric Group has sustained this dynamic for over 50 years, continuously meeting industry shifts with cutting-edge solutions while fostering deep trust with clients. As a family-owned, full-service electronics contract manufacturing partner, it combines large-scale production capabilities and skilled engineering with a small-business’ personal touch for exceptional service delivery and building lasting relationships.
“While bringing in a customer, we always aim for a long-term collaboration that promotes their success and fuels the collective growth," says Bradley Turner, vice president of marketing and business development.
Certified Excellence
A wide range of technical capabilities are key to Matric Group’s client retention and success. It specializes in high-mix, low to high volume complex assemblies and offers a range of Class II and Class III electronics, printed circuit board (PCB), cable and harness, electromechanical box builds and aftermarket services. More than 60 percent of Matric Group’s operations involves providing turnkey solutions, where the company manages the entire box build process and sometimes even ships products directly to the end customer.

The products are built under stringent quality control, upholding the highest industry standards. Matric Group is ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, ITAR and NADCAP certified — certifications essential to cater to industries like aerospace, medical devices and defense. The focus on quality is further complimented with scalable production capabilities to better serve the global markets.
Supporting Global Ambitions
Matric Group brings together three companies under one banner to cater its vast client base. The former two, Matric Limited and Dynamic Manufacturing specialize in electronics contract manufacturing. The latter, Windurance, focuses on innovative wind energy products. The company has positioned its Dynamic location as the low to medium-volume production center. Simultaneously, the Matric site operates on a low to high volume level of manufacturing under Supporting Global Ambitions. Scalability is not a concern as Matric Group can quickly pivot to six- and seven-figure production runs, ensuring full support for any domestic and international growth plans.
The Real-World Impact
Matric Group’s long-standing client, who operates in a regulated market with complex product redesign requirements stands as a testament to the company’s client-centricity. These redesigns demand adherence to narrow timelines to avoid obsolescence, while still leaving room to secure certifications and comply with regulations. Matric Group has successfully struck this delicate balance for over half a century, fulfilling client demands — an achievement only a few can match.

In a similar vein, Matric Group has made significant contributions to the redesign of intrinsically safe products used in mining applications. Whether taking on a major role or entirely leading the development of the latest generations, the company showcases exceptional technical capabilities and flexibility during the process. It stays true to client-centricity throughout and allows customers to determine when and how they wish to introduce new equipment into the market while continuing to support older generations.
Matric Group has also taken on the responsibility of maintaining legacy versions still in the field and continues to repair and maintain products that are up to 20 years old. The company's support has been integral to the client's continued operation in the market without a downturn in the field life availability.
A Partner for the Long Haul
Matric Group upholds exceptional customer service delivery in all its client engagement efforts. One of the company’s essential services deals with the swift obsolescence of screens, which usually have lifecycles of just a few years. It handles the complexities of replacing outdated screens while sourcing and designing new ones that fit seamlessly into existing products, ensuring backward compatibility. This allows customers to rest easy, assured of timely delivery of reliable components. Matric Group’s aftermarket service is also one of the best in the industry. It continually supports products that are 10-20 years old to back certain customers’ go-to-market strategies.

“As long as the necessary components are available, we will continue to repair our customer's product," says Turner. "And remanufacture product produced by other OEMs, but to optimize product life cycle management we strive to position ourselves as the primary OEM.”
The Formula for Lasting Success
Matric Group's client engagement is designed to give customers the attention and care a small firm provides.
It begins with a discovery process involving the company’s business development engineers to understand the client’s pain points and identify the most effective solution. Post-onboarding, a dedicated team, including an account manager, buyer and quality associate, is assigned to the client to provide consistent support. Matric Group continuously monitors client needs and works to address any issues as they arise.
Personalized service, large-scale manufacturing capabilities and a relentless focus on quality and innovation have paved the way for Matric Group's success over the past 50 years. Today, it stands as a partner clients can count on for the long run, whether for turnkey solutions or aftermarket support.
