Electronics targeting for space applications must withstand extreme environment in radiation, temperature, and others. They must be highly reliable, fault tolerant, recoverable/programmable. Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) are great choice for space usage. But FPGAs designed for space is less available and unlikely to exist as silicon moves into deep nano-meter process. There is a need for new technology allowing the use of commercial FPGAs for space and military applications.

In line with this, LeWiz provides a wide range of products for use in space, defense, time-critical and ultra-low latency applications: Ethernet controllers from 100Gbps to 10Mbps, time-triggered/time-sensitive networking, complex data transfer functions (smart, high-performance DMAs, etc.), fault tolerant RISC-V processors, network-on-chip, data-center clustering technology for servers/storage systems.Its products support and compatible with industry standards such as AXI/AXIS busses, XGMII/CGMII PHY interfaces, AS6802 (time-triggered), IEEE 802.1AS (time-sensitive), 32/64b RISC-V, and others.

LeWiz capabilities and expertise have enabled it to support multiple government and tier-1 commercial clients. It is a DARPA performer for DoD Electronics Resurgence Initiative and previously developed advanced wireless system for defense applications. The company has also designed rad-hard technologies for NASA, custom FPGA board, and software/firmware for federal security applications. In addition, LeWiz has many reputed clients from the private sector. For example, it worked in conjunction with a tier-1 storage company to develop clustering technology - project was well planned and executed within budget and time constraint.
