Integra Technologies is a one-stop shop for all phases of the semiconductor manufacturing process, from die preparation, packaging, and assembly to testing and beyond. Integra Technologies’ engineering group includes 75 people who hold extensive technical knowledge of assembly through test and reliability. From processing wafers made out of any material to helping clients find obsolete parts, the team is capable of handling diverse client requirements. In many cases, the engineering team has dealt with issues like raw-material crunch successfully by finding the right substitute.

Integra Technologies also maintains a sound inventory and supply system.

With its comprehensive services, Integra Technologies has been able to serve numerous clients over the years. For instance, Saluda Medical approached the company five years ago to create the world’s first ECAP-Controlled Closed-Loop spinal cord stimulation device. There were, however, multiple challenges, including high customization, long timelines, critical documentation process, high failure risk, and tight budget.

Integra Technologies supported Saluda in the ASIC package andtesting. It developed device tests to test every aspect of the ASIC’s function and critical safety measures, with the process and package being validated by the company and its partners. The company also conducted a comprehensive failure analysis by openly discussing risks and failures, utilized its Silicon Valley facility for packaging, and assisted Saluda with the development of test plans, packaging specifications, and documenting test system verification. This helped the client ramp from small volumes to commercial quantities.

In essence, Integra Technologies has been an indispensable part of Saluda’s product commercialization journey.
