ASICLAND has brought an era of change for fabless and foundry companies struggling to perform high-accuracy and precise chip-design operations within a short time frame and bring them to market swiftly. The firm designs high-end semiconductors with greater transistor density faster than market standards. To do this, they deploy semiconductor engineering experts and a graphical user interface (GUI) based and silicon proven SoC design automation platform dubbed A World Magic™ to help clients design chips faster and reduce the time to market. Consequently, clients achieve a higher competitive advantage amid the rising demand for advanced semiconductors.
Its precision in operations, combined with the top-notch technology for semiconductor designing, has helped ASICLAND become an offshore Value Chain Alliance (VCA) of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (TSMC).
“What sets us apart is our approach to bridge fabless and foundry companies. We leverage automation to design complex semiconductors like 5nm chips with greater transistor density and high tech nodes– faster, cheaper, and flawless,” says Sean Lee, Senior Director and Head of Marketing at ASICLAND.
It can generate a register transfer level (RTL) code and a verification environment by creating a simulation code. The platform also automates the creation of field programmable gate arrays (FPGA) image file and test software, enabling ASICLAND to use their automation platform to repeat the design process and apply IPs quickly in a GUI environment and help clients design the chip faster. This helps clients witness about 60 percent reduction in their development time and a seven-fold cost reduction.
ASICLAND also offers customized services for architecture design, front and back-end design, assembly and testing, and production qualification of semiconductors. They focus on automating the composing tasks at a script level to prevent human errors while doing back-end design for the chips. To that end, it partners with a Korean AI company to adopt AI in the floor planning stage. This helps ASICLAND reduce the time to reach the required power, performance, and area (PPA) specification. Similarly, it offers clients faster time-to-market by preventing human errors and delivering quality and stability throughout the design flow.
“We also provide greater flexibility when customers ask for changes in the IP or project architecture, helping them reiterate the design process and make developments seamlessly,” states Lee.
A testament to ASICLAND’s success is its recognition as an ARM-approved design partner (ADP). Its track record in utilizing IP templates to accelerate the chip design process and top-notch quality standards has helped the firm secure the trust of many leading companies in the semiconductor industry. For instance, its templates on AI and IoT were instrumental in assisting a customer in taping out an AI Semiconductor in 30 percent less time than estimated.
In a world where the growth of digitalization has absolute dependence on the performance of chips, ASICLAND stays on the top by offering the top-notch solutions for designing chips faster along with optimum fault analysis.
