6 May - June - 2022The capacitor technologies are undergoing a significant change, with hybrid supercapacitors increasingly replacing traditional aluminum capacitors. On that front, the rising wave of new capacitor technologies, such as multilayer ceramic capacitors and supercapacitors, will create significant potential in electric vehicle (EV) and consumer and wearable electronics applications, driving the demand for novel capacitor technologies.Incorporating various capacitor technologies, such as aluminum, ceramic, tantalum, paper and film, and supercapacitors, also promises to open a new window of opportunities for multiple capacitor technologies. For instance, thin-film capacitors form between the power supply plane and the ground plane below the large-scale integration (LSI) chip.
