2 MAY - 2023 SSwitches essentially automate our lives and make our daily routines simpler and more enjoyable. Worldwide, over 20 billion euros worth of switches are typically sold each year. Currently, two types of switches are commonly used: - Electromechanical relays, which have been in use for two centuries, provide an ideal switching function but remain bulky and consume a significant amount of energy when activated. - Semiconductors, despite their name, are neither fully conducting nor fully isolating, making them expensive and inherently energy-consuming. AirMems offers a solution based on MEMS (Microelectromechanical Systems). without compromises, ensuring a true galvanic OFF state while consuming zero energy for actuation in the ON state. All of this is achieved within an electronic chip manufactured using cost-effective and well-established industrial processes. In 2023, AirMems was recognized by the Semiconductor Review as the top microelectronic company in Europe. Contact@airmems.com AirMems Micro Relay It's not relay It's not semiconductor It's MEMS.
