Lastly, the function is verified for the designed RTL based on the LSI development requirement specifications in the verification process. The failure detection rate is also calculated for the gate circuit. Further, in terms of RTL design and verification, Vtech supports clients with the calculation of the fault coverage rate using fault simulator of Synopsys or Cadence, which are becoming standard tools in the FMEA process, and even introduction of those tools.
